Las Vegas police are seeking the public's help in identifying the mother of a 3-year-old girl abandoned inside a casino restroom.

Security located the child inside the Wynn on Tuesday morning, and detectives learned the child was left there by a woman believed to be her mother, the Metropolitan Police Department said Wednesday.

The woman was last seen walking out of the casino and heading north on Las Vegas Boulevard, South, according to police.

Meanwhile, the child is in good health and under the care of Child Protective Services.

The woman, believed to be the mother, is described as a black female in her mid to late 20s, standing approximately 5 feet, 5 inches and weighing 125 pounds. She was wearing a blonde wig in a ponytail, police said.
