Armed woman robs west-side Golden Coin Casino Saturday morning

Sioux Falls police are hunting for a woman who robbed a casino Saturday morning before escaping on foot.

Police received a report of a panic alarm at the Golden Coin Casino on 3404 S. Marion Road at about 10:30 a.m. The woman, who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The woman was described as white or Hispanic with blond hair. She was dressed in gray sweat pants, a black jacket and a pink stocking cap. There were no injuries.
