Casino Insider: Morongo, Harrah's, Agua Caliente casinos announce reopening plans

We're back with another Casino Insider and it's packed full of news as more casinos announce their reopening plans.

Last week, more than 3,000 of you answered a survey asking when you would be comfortable enough returning to a casino, and the largest percentage of votes, 39%, was for the option "ASAP, the slots are calling my name!"

Below you can see the full results before we get into the news of the week, which is that many, many casinos said they will reopen (there was one outlier this week that took a different approach, saying it will stay closed for now).

Tuesday was a day full of announcements. That's when four different casinos -- Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa; Spotlight 29 Casino; Tortoise Rock Casino and Harrah's Resort Southern California -- all announced they will reopen. Beyond Southern California...

Steve Wynn, former Wynn Resorts chairman and CEO, gave what are believed to be his first public comments about the gaming industry in an interview with Fox Business, according to this Las Vegas Review-Journal article. During the interview, Wynn said airplanes will be crucial to Las Vegas' rebound; Macao will have an edge on other gambling markets; and some casinos that have been closed for two months may have to shutter.
