GTA 5 Online money update ahead of next big Casino Heist DLC download
Monday 9th December 2019
If you're looking to take on the casino, you'll need to make sure your bank balance is topped up.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is now one of gaming's biggest-sellers, offering incredible value for money. As fun as the excellent campaign is, it's Grand Theft Auto Online that keeps players logging in month after month.
Next week, on December 12, the game is getting one of the biggest pieces of DLC that it's received since launch with the Diamond Casino Heist. While the casino itself launched earlier this year, this is the first time players have been able to rob the imposing building.
Rockstar is promising players multiple ways to take the casino down, and it's just as well - because the security measures will be constantly shifting. It sounds like the closest thing GTA has to a raid-like encounter from something like Destiny, and we can't wait to get started. You can find out more on Rockstar's blog post, here .
While the DLC is free, it'd be fair to say that the game will undoubtedly offer plenty to spend your real-life cash on - probably on ensuring you've got the best equipment for the heist.

For those keen to know more about the Diamond Casino Heist coming to GTA Online on December 12, 2019, here's a bit more info on what players can expect to encounter:
"The Diamond Casino Heist is an all-new approach to Heist architecture and execution: one huge gameplay-packed operation as you work with the Cheng family to infiltrate the most secure building in all of Los Santos.
"Featuring a diverse range of opportunities for set-up and prep missions that shape your plan of attack, multiple paths of approach, constantly changing security measures and a dizzying array of choices once inside.
"Expect outcomes for you and your crew to change on the fly as you deal with each new situation, leading to more choices mid-mission.
"Even if the best-laid plans go sideways, you'll have the opportunity to keep the mission afloat without failing by shooting your way out with your remaining team lives, all allowing the Heist to be highly replayable with new scenarios unfolding each time.
There's no trailer to showcase any of the new content just yet, but fans could see some teasers released early next week ahead of the new DLC arriving Thursday.
Rockstar has been busy working on both of its incredible open-world multiplayer games, as Red Dead Redemption 2 is also getting a sizeable update next week.
Red Dead Online will let players brew their own moonshine as of December 13. You can find out more here.
