Hard Rock lands London casino licence

The famous Ritz Club in London, UK, has a new owner - Hard Rock International.

The taking on of a casino in the UK will enhance Hard Rock's strategy of entering major cities around the world, said chairman Jim Allen. "We look forward to bringing our hospitality and gaming to the birthplace of Hard Rock," he said.

The company already has venues in Hollywood, Florida, New York, Paris, Amsterdam and other cities. In all, Hard Rock International has locations in 69 countries and 240 venues that include hotels, casinos, Rock Shops and cafes.
