A man killed himself at a casino restaurant in northeast Minnesota on Monday.
The Carlton County Sheriff's Office says the tragic incident happened at the Seven Fires Steakhouse inside the Black Bear Casino in Carlton, just off of I-35 west of Duluth.
Police had been called at 2:38 p.m. to a report of a person with a handgun and a shot being fired inside the restaurant.
When they arrived, they found the man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
"There were no other injuries and the incident was isolated to the Steakhouse," the sheriff's office said.
The name of the victim has not been released at this stage, but he is a 52-year-old man from Mahtomedi.
