BILOXI, Miss. (AP) -- The Mississippi Supreme Court has affirmed the rejection of a proposed casino site on the Gulf Coast.
Justices on Thursday affirmed a circuit court ruling that said the site did not meet standards set in state law.
The development did not have a direct connection to property that touches the coastal waters.
Mississippi law allows state-regulated casinos only along the waters of the Mississippi River or over or near the waters of the Gulf Coast.
The rejected site proposal came from Ray Woolridge.
