Scarlet Pearl Casino shows love to the Coast community - WXXV 25

Thursday 9th April 2020

'Closed doors and open hearts,' that's the message the Scarlet Pearl Casino is sending to the community.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, most of the country is shutdown including our Coast casinos, but that hasn't stopped many of them from showing their community support.

Last night, the Scarlet Pearl Casino in D'Iberville lit up 28 rooms to spell out the word 'love' Scarlet Pearl CEO LuAnn Pappas said, "We said you know what love means? It means knowing that no matter what you have someone to count on. For us it is unconditional and it makes you feel really good inside. It is arguably the most powerful emotion one can have and it resonates well with out customers and with us because it is about love."

Casino employees have also been spending their days calling customers and checking on them while the Scarlet Pearl is closed.
