One of the newest trends in the online casino industry is that of the 'No-Account Casino.' Though the concept isn't exactly the same as how the name sounds, the crux of the matter is. A no-account casino is one with an extremely simple signup process, one that's much faster than conventional online casinos. In this article, we'll take you through the ins and outs of such a casino, and if they're available to play in India.

In essence, a no-account casino is one that is based and powered only by the user's bank account. All one needs to do to sign up for the casino using their Bank ID/number, verify that through their phone or net banking portal, and that's it! There is no need to enter your name, email address, mobile number or anything else, as everything will be ported from your bank account. Of course, the prerequisite here is that one must have an active net-banking account with all the relevant details filled. The catch here is that the only accepted method of payment is online banking, credit/debit cards or wallets are not accepted. To some, this may be a positive, but in an economy like India where wallets and cards are a lot more common, it could be a big negative factor.

These casinos, apart from their signing-up process are very similar to regular online casinos. They have a large variety of games, a decent array of bonuses, and do not lack any other major feature that's found on full-account based casinos.

We asked BestCasinoIndia, a site specialising in the Indian online casino market if there were any no-account casinos available in India, and here's the answer we got: "At the moment, you cannot play in any no-account casinos as an Indian player, and we haven't heard any rumours of this any happening anytime soon." There are a number of reasons as to why this is the case, most that have to do with stringent banking regulations. At the moment, gambling is an unregulated industry in India, hence, banks cannot take the risk of engaging in such transactions. Also, some of the software and gateways used to activate no-account casinos do not support Indian banks and the rupee yet.

Unfortunately, this means that for the time being, Indian players have to suffice with regular, full account casinos. As of now, these are mostly found in European countries such as Finland, Sweden and Germany.

To sum up, the concept of a no-account casino is certainly interesting and convenient, but it's a concept that is still in its infancy. For it to become commonplace in India and around the world, there would have to be a shift in the regulatory atmosphere, and support from the userbase. Though it may sound strange, the vast majority of gamblers still prefer to have various methods of payment available to them, and don't follow the no-account concept yet.
